To be honest, I never wanted to be vegan.

Food is too important to me. I didn’t want my plate to be steamed kale or quinoa. Blech!

Especially growing up with meat at the center of a holiday feast, it’s hard to know what to do besides making yet another salad or grain bowl.

I am the last person I EVER thought would become a vegan.

In fact, I thought veganism would suck.

I understand how overwhelming cooking a holiday meal can be, especially making it entirely plant-based!

I decided to go vegan (almost 10 years ago!) during the holidays. What a time to tell your family you no longer eat any of the dishes that are currently being prepared for our annual epic family feast.

As I was new to cooking vegan and my family couldn’t even pronounce “vegan”, none of us had any idea what to make. 

I didn't want boiled carrots and a salad with just lemon juice.

So the next year I decided to recreate the traditional holiday dishes, only plant-based. ​

After a decade of constant research and experimentation, I proved what I thought was impossible. 

I made vegan dishes so good, that they tasted better than the original.
(And they are easier to make and more affordable too)!

The more I veganized recieps the more I fell in love with vegan food.
